Recall that the Jara co-host had jokingly talked about Jim Iyke’s failed relationship with the popular actress Nadia Buari, who recently gave birth to twins. Uti said things that Jim termed ‘defamatory comments’, as they did not go down well with the Nollywood actor. This was revealed when one of Iyke’s aides told reporters the actor was angry about what was said and planned to confront Uti whenever he saw him. Uti has since apologized.
Uti took to his Instagram post last night to apologize to Jim saying:
My sincere apologies to one of the greatest Nollywood icons of our time. @jim.iyke .. I’m sincerely and deeply sorry for the insensitive joke/post made yesterday. As one of my favorite and most respected actors I will never set out to intentionally disrespect you brother. Using the insert from jara was my own friendly way of reaching out and once again I’m sorry for being insensitive especially at the special period. . Rest assured it won’t happen again. please accept my unreserved apologies. Like I said you are one of the few that actually inspire and motivate people like me to be better and work harder. Abeg nor too vex for me bro . I Troway salute
This action by the co-host has endeared him to a lot of young Nigerians more.Jim Iyke, who was said to be bent on confronting Uti Nwachukwu, has been at the centre of many controversies of late. He recently took a swipe at Nigerian bloggers, describing Linda Ikeji as the lamest of all.
